About Shelly

SH Designs was created on July 19, 2004.  I just can't believe how fast time has flown! Embroidery has become my first passion with scrapbooking coming in second!

I use Embird Studio to create everything I do with.  I just can't say enough about Embird!  What a great and powerful software!  It is just the best thing since sliced bread!

I embroider on a Babylock Esante and a Babylock Ellageo 3.  I sew on a Brother Quilt Club machine and serge on a Babylock Imagine serger.  I love all my machines!

Everything on my website is tested by myself and other fantastic individuals!  I try very hard to have pictures of the projects, so you all can see all different ways of using them and changing colors or fabrics to create the project.  I think this helps to get those creative juices flowing.  You also are able to see the actual stitch outs.  Pictures are never touched up!  They are resized for faster viewing and most of the time I have added a small white halo around the edges to emphasize the project.

One a more personal note about me.  I'm a stay at home mom and SH Designs enables me to be that! Ü  I'm everything my family needs me to be at that moment! As I said earlier, I love to scrapbook!  I dabble in regular sewing and quilting.

 I have a fabulous and wonderful supportive family.  My husband can build just about anything and keeps me organized.  He helps me with idea's and planning!  He truly is my knight and shining armor! 

We have two children!  Josh, who somehow has turned into an adult way to fast!  He's very creative also.  He loves music and drawing.  He is very much an artist!  Brittani, who is not quite yet a teen, but will be very shortly.  She loves to cook and scrapbook!  She dabbles in drawing.  A very talented young lady!  They are my pride and joy! 

The last addition to the family is our fur baby, Molly.  She is half shih tzu and toy poodle!  She keeps all of us on our toes!
